International Orphan Sunday Set for November 7

On Sunday, November 7, the Church of God is partnering with Serving Orphans Worldwide (SOW) to sponsor International Orphan Sunday. With over 7,000 orphaned and abandoned children residing at Church of God children’s homes around the world, this is a time to draw awareness of the opportunity to help support this fundamental need.

Lee University to Celebrate Homecoming 2021

Cleveland, TN–Lee University’s 2021 Homecoming weekend is one month away, scheduled for Nov. 5-6. After an entirely virtual homecoming celebration last year, the Lee family is once again invited to gather with old and new friends in person for a weekend full of Lee events.

Honoring Retired Ministers and Widows: October 24

Reformation Sunday, the time set aside by Church of God congregations to honor its retired ministers and widows, has been set for Sunday, October 24.

Two New Churches Launched

On September 12, 2021, Pastor Adam and Carrie Mew launched Second Mile Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. They were trained by ARC (Association of Related Churches) almost 1 ½ years ago, but they faithfully worked and waited to plant the church until a better time. The wait was worth it.

New Members Appointed to General Board of Education, Pentecostal Theological Seminary and Lee University

Cleveland, TN: Following their regularly scheduled September meeting, Dr. Timothy M. Hill and the International Executive Committee announced the addition of several members to the General Board of Education and board of directors at both the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and Lee University.
