Cleveland, TN–Church of God educational leaders from across the globe gathered by Zoom earlier this week in a historic meeting to discuss their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Called and moderated by Dr. David Ramirez, Assistant General Overseer and liaison to the Division of Education, more than 35 college and seminary leaders joined together in an open discussion about how God has changed their focus during this crisis.

Tulsa, OK – Empowered21 (E21), a worldwide relational network of leaders across the Spirit-empowered Church, hosted its annual Global Council virtually on Monday, June 1, 2020, in conjunction with the launch this week of the larger E21 Global Congress Online. This was the largest Global Council meeting to date and included 61 council members from 26 countries.

Cleveland, TN—Church of God Publications recently formed a prayer network group called Pathway Intercessors. Under the leadership of Director of Pathway Press David Ray and Rev. Al Taylor, retired ministers call and pray with and encourage local church pastors. According to Ray, each Pathway Intercessor has been assigned a group 40-50 pastors to contact.

Corona, Calif.–Award-winning Comedian Nazareth is livestreaming a community-centered weeknight comedy show that has viewers saying it’s the reason they are staying alive and hopeful during the coronavirus pandemic. “Live with Naz — Quarantining in Corona,” a 60-minute Facebook Live stream, begins at 8:30 p.m. PST Monday through Friday and attracts viewers from all over the world, including Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Canada, Jordan, Dubai, and the U.S.
