Teacher of the Year Award Nominees Sought
International Youth and Discipleship and Pathway Press are partnering together in the 7th annual Teacher of the Year award to be announced on Sunday, January 29, 2012. “Church of God churches across America are encouraged to consider nominating a teacher, who is involved in Bible teaching in Sunday school, discipleship, or midweek training,” stated Tony Lane, discipleship and children’s ministries coordinator at the International Youth and Discipleship office. “Churches are also invited to set aside Sunday, January 29, 2012 as a day to honor Christian education workers for their dedication, hard work and life-changing impact on their students through the discipleship ministries of the local church. By doing so, churches will demonstrate in meaningful ways the importance and high value placed on the ministry of discipleship in the church.”
