Congratulations, tolerance mau-mauers: Your shakedown of a heterosexual-targeted dating website worked. Homosexuals will no longer be denied the inalienable “right” to hook up with same-sex partners on eHarmony. What a landmark triumph for social progress, eh?

Operation Compassion Receives Water Purification Grant

Operation Compassion recently received a $2 million grant from World Emergency Relief for water purification units. This grant was provided as a national grant to assist rural areas in areas where the water has been polluted by industry, natural disasters or build up of silt and debris. In particular, the areas of Appalachia and the Indian Reservations of the west will be prominent recipients of these units.

What a Blessing

We recently had the privilege of preaching and teaching in two churches, one of them was a 98 % deaf and mute constituency. What a blessing to worship the Lord with people who are so limited by their physical condition, but they so desperately want to express their love to God.

Mac & Jeans Day

Monday, November 3, 2008 was “Mac & Jeans Day” at Cleveland (Tenn.) High School. Hundreds of students participated in this charitable “food-raiser” to benefit the Tyler H. Carver Children’s Home in Guyana, South America.
