Reformation Sunday Is October 25

Every year, the Church of God designates a Sunday in October to receive a special offering to honor retired ministers and widows. It is called Reformation Sunday and it takes place this year on October 25, 2020.

California Churches Cope with Restrictions, Fires

As Coronavirus cases surged throughout the Golden State of California, churches were banned from indoor worship services. Social media websites struggled to handle the sudden increase in live streaming. In addition to restrictions, fires have raged across the state for several weeks, placing further obstacles in the path of traditional weekly worship gatherings.

Church of God, Global Church Network Announce Partnership

Dr. James O. Davis, founder of the Global Church Network, has announced Dr. Larry G. Hess will be joining the GCN team as Executive Director of the Global Hubs of Christianity, where he will provide strategic leadership in the formation and deployment of all future Hubs of the GCN. Additionally, he will oversee and organize all planned Hubs and Finish 2030 Summits that are scheduled worldwide in 2021 and beyond, while interfacing and interconnecting with key Christian leaders throughout major streams of Christianity.
