Church World Missions has been informed by Field Director Otoniel Collins, Superintendent Pedro Guardado, and the national overseer of the Church of God in Nicaragua Bishop Adolfo Sequeira López of the civil unrest disrupting the Central American country of Nicaragua.
A 40-Day prayer initiative to pray for the Church of God and particularly the upcoming General Assembly, began today at noon EST and will continue every weekday for 40 days until May 31, 2018. The prayer focus each day will be for Pentecost and the upcoming General Assembly.
Activities are scheduled and preparations are well underway for the 77th Church of God International General Assembly, set for July 30-August 3, 2018, in Orlando, Florida. Church of God World Missions has announced several events in conjunction with the Assembly.
Nashville, TN–Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill served as ‘Minister of the Day’ for the Tennessee State House of Representatives on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Hill opened the 9:00 a.m. session with prayer, citing Psalms 121 and blessing members of both the House and Senate leadership.
Church of God Black Ministries recently announced their biennial fellowship luncheon, “Gathering of Cultures” award luncheon, set to take place during the upcoming 77th International General Assembly in Orlando, Florida.
