During the past two days, Operation Compassion (OC) has been busy implementing a plan to help the survivors of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. With the catastrophic nature of the hurricane damage, getting into the devastated areas without interfering with recovery efforts has been difficult.
Members of the Church of God Doctrine and Polity Committee have released the paper entitled, “The Role of Repentance in the Christian Life.”

Calgary, Alberta, CANADA–Dr. William M. “Billy” Wilson, president of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been elected chairman of the Pentecostal World Fellowship, an ecumenical organization with the mission, “to unite and mobilize the global Spirit-filled family in completing the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.” He was officially installed on Thursday, August 29.
