With the addition of our newest home here on the Samaritan’s Place campus, we are envisioning a program we are calling “Roots and Wings”. It’s purpose is to allow adoptees and/or adoptive families to return and stay a few days up to two months to really enjoy re-connecting with the Philippines. Most of the “motherland” tour programs seem so tourist-y, costly and don’t allow for adoptees or families to feel settled.
URUGUAY — Each year we have many testimonies of how God gives freedom to the students who have been in bondage. One evening we had a service where the Lord really moved in our students’ lives.
I am so grateful for 47 years of evangelism and missions and for being able to travel and minister in 160 countries. God has been so good in my life. I have seen so many miracles over the years, but one in particular stands out to me.
For more than 50 years, the ministry of South Africa’s Paul and Ellie van Zyl has been the stuff of legend. From the moment they were married in 1956, they have dared to go where no one else would go and do what no one else would do. Like Moses, throughout their fruitful ministry they have experienced a spiritual fire in the bush of darkest Africa.
