Longest-Serving Chaplain Passes Away

Chaplain Annie Perry, Griffin, Georgia, passed away on September 3, 2008, and at that time, was the most senior chaplain endorsed by the Chaplains Commission.

National Convention in Uruguay

URUGUAY — The Church of God in Uruguay recently celebrated its 40-year anniversary during the National Convention in Montevideo. The theme of the event was “In the Power of the Spirit,” and the special guest was Assistant Director Víctor Pagán.

Eagles’ Wings recently preached in Kabarnet Town on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. We planned this meeting to boost a new church plant that was started by one of our Discipleship College students. The college chapel has been sponsoring the work of planting the church, so the students were actively involved in this meeting.

Moriah Chapel in Loughor, Wales, is not a fancy building. Constructed in 1898 and surrounded by crumbling tombstones, the church is plain and uninviting except for a monument near the front door that might be mistaken for a war memorial.
