National Convention in Uruguay

URUGUAY — The Church of God in Uruguay recently celebrated its 40-year anniversary during the National Convention in Montevideo. The theme of the event was “In the Power of the Spirit,” and the special guest was Assistant Director Víctor Pagán.

The Church of God in Uruguay recently celebrated its 40-year anniversary during the National Convention in Montevideo. The theme of the event was “In the Power of the Spirit,” and the special guest was Assistant Director Víctor Pagán.

Delegates from all over the country participated, joining hundreds of members from the capital who came to experience the night services.

The Church of God in Uruguay was pioneered by missionary Rev. Jose Minay, who along with a group of national pastors organized the church in this South American country. This nation that has been characterized by the atheism and Gnosticism of its people, but today has about 50 churches.

We are seeing tremendous growth in the Church of God at the time.
