The organization is Christian Freedom International whose president, Jim Jacobson, says the Marine distributed coins with the words of John 3:16 on one side. The other side asked, in Arabic, the question: “Where will you spend eternity?” The soldier is now on home turf awaiting further word on possible punishment.
This past year has been both wonderful and very difficult. In 2007, I went to the Philippines. Lisa was able to join me there for about three weeks. We were able to learn a little of the language and get a glimpse of the culture. The Lord blessed us with many lasting relationships with both Americans and Filipinos. We hope to work with many of them in the future as we minister in the Philippines.

Lee University’s School of Music will be hosting its annual summer camp June 9-14, 2008. The camp is open to students entering grades 9-12 and rising college freshman. The camp will offer a variety of classes and performance opportunities led by Lee University music faculty.
I will never forget the day. I stood in the middle of a parking lot isolated by a vast world of uncertainty. Through a blur of tears, I watched as the last 18 years of security, comfort and guidance drove out of my life and into its own familiarity – without me. My parents were gone now.
