Hurricane Isaac is continuing to pound the coastal region of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama with torrential rains, storm surge, fierce winds and flooding in low lying areas with no immediate end in sight. According the National Weather Service, Hurricane Isaac’s fury will last from 18 to 24 hours putting undue stress on local resources in the area.
