Cleveland, TN–Lee University was recently ranked #12 in Great College Deals’ “20 Best Deals on Small Service-Oriented Colleges.”

The American Bible Society recently published the book series, The Journey of a Military Wife: God’s Truth for Every Step, written by Dr. Brenda Pace of the Church of God Chaplains Commission. The four volume set addresses the unique challenges a military wife faces over the course of her husband’s career to include marriage and family issues, deployment, reintegration, relocation, and transitions.

On Monday, December 5, Christian artists, Steve Amerson and Babbie Mason and the Nation Christian Choir will present “A Capitol Christmas Concert” in the Cannon Caucus Room in the Cannon House Office Building. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

The State of the Plate surveyed nearly 1,600 pastors, leaders, and laypeople to assess the current state of giving to churches in America. Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, sponsors a Nepal Evangelism Project, where they visit and train leaders for ministry. Paulette Lewis felt the burden to raise funds for the project and asked God to reveal to her what she could do … the result was a year-long commitment to sell a meal-a-month on the first Friday to those interested.
