CLEVELAND, TN–Lee University will be the recipient of a $1.8 million dollar grant from the United States Department of Education, school officials announced on July 15.

The largest faith celebration ever presented in Nebraska wrapped Sunday night, July 15th, at the Qwest Center Omaha grounds after two days of the Luis Palau Heartland Festival. Event organizers set the weekend attendance at close to 105,000 people.

Each year, the International Department of Youth and Christian Education (YCE) sets a theme and program for the annual Children’s Day emphasis, suggested for the last Sunday of August.

We began the construction of Kembo Primary School in 2005. This is the only permanent structure in the Kembo, Africa area. Both the construction of the building and the promotion of education have been more difficult than expected. Today we have built three classrooms.
