Evangel Honored by Evangelical Press Association
The Church of God Evangel was recognized for journalistic excellence at the 2011 Evangelical Press Association Convention held recently in Chicago.
In competition with more than 30 other magazines in the denominational category, the Evangel received an Award of Merit in the 2010 Awards of Excellence. In Part magazine took first place, while ECFA Today also won an Award of Merit.
Judges said the Evangel provides “a strong, diverse content mix that has a genuine editorial strategy behind it.” The editor is Lance Colkmire; Bob Fisher is the designer.
