HOME Building in Honduras
The construction of the Red Cross Church of God in Honduras is on schedule, and the building is rising up out of the ground. Several churches in Louisiana (Dunn, Robert, Maranatha and Fountain of Praise) are funding this effort, and plans for an August completion look promising. We held a church service with more than 200 people in the yard behind the pastor’s home; there is tremendous momentum with this church. The adjoining after-school tutoring and addiction ministry center is also under construction.
The Copan Seminary dining hall/library project is still under development. We had originally planned for a spring launch, but it now appears it will be closer to Christmas before this project gets going. A new educational director has been appointed and some changes to the previous plans are underway. Fundraising information will be given to pastors soon.
The Seguatipeque Seminary library project is in the formative stages, and I believe this will be a wonderful project for 2009.
