World Missions Approaching 100 Years

The exhibit hall at the 72nd Church of God General Assembly in San Antonio, Texas, will portray how the collective ministries and services of the Church of God unite to focus our denomination on fulfilling the vision of reaching the world with the message of Christ. The exhibit area will consist of interactive and informational booths featuring the various ministries/programs of the Church of God, including Global Evangelization.

The World Missions exhibit/booth, as well as other booths, will open on Monday, August 4, and operate through Friday, August 9, 2008.

Church of God World Missions will feature an exhibit wall with “100 Years of Church of God Advance” as the theme. This wall will include pictures of missionaries—beginning with R. M. Evans—who have served Church of God World Missions over the past 100 years.

The booth will also consist of a “Meet Your Missionary” area in which World Missions missionaries will be available to speak with guests. Various missionaries will present on an hourly basis and are scheduled daily to visit with interested donors and missions-minded individuals.

Local missions representatives from various states will be assisting World Missions in hosting/greeting visitors. They will be in the display area to help distribute missions materials and resources for those interested in missions.
