Cultural Pioneering Launches Web Site

In an ongoing commitment to strengthening the church planting efforts of the Church of God, a new Web site, www.culturalpioneeringreg.net has been launched.

Cultural Pioneering exists to commission a new generation to make a significant difference by recruiting, supporting and mentoring church planters who are mobilizing teams and enveloping the Church throughout the United States.

The initiative is a joint effort between the Church of God and America Ablaze. According to the Web site, Cultural Pioneering, “believes church multiplication must happen at the local level. We collaborate with church multipliers to effectively equip, strategically fund, and intentionally network new faith communities. We believe that together we can leverage change in our nation. Our network consists of pastors and church leaders positioned all throughout the United States. Cultural Pioneering is simply here to help as you step out in faith to be a part of building God’s church.” Potential and existing church planters are encouraged to be involved in the network are encouraged to download the church planters application located on the Web site.

Orville Hagan, former assistant general overseer for the Church of God, serves as one of three coaches with the Cultural Pioneering initiative.
“The United States of America is the third largest mission field in the world,” Hagan stated. “Planting churches is the biblical pattern for the expansion of the Church. A recent study found that churches 25 years of age and older usually decline in attendance year after year. It is a fact: planting new churches results in more people coming to know Jesus Christ.”

Cultural pioneering ascribes to the concept of the American Missionary Experience, a concentrated and accelerated life and ministry formation experience designed to prepare and mobilize passionate followers of Christ to serve as missionaries in the United States. The American Missionary Experience provides a theo-centric process of living and learning for self-motivated individuals who are actively seeking to share their life destiny as servant leaders. The program provides a supervised formational experience that fosters the discovery of ministry identity, the development of leadership gifting, and the deployment of vocational direction in order to produce American missionaries to carry the Gospel to every aspect of culture/society.
