Midwest Kicks Off Winterfest 2011 This Weekend
The first of a dozen Winterfest events for 2011 is slated for this weekend as thousands of young people will converge on the city of Indianapolis for Midwest Winterfest.
Winterfest is sponsored through Church of God Youth and Discipleship and is one of the largest gatherings of its type in the nation. The latest cutting-edge Christian artists and speakers are scheduled to entertain and encourage thousands of delegates who will attend.
The magnitude of the popularity of Winterfest is demonstrated as this first event, scheduled for January 21-23 at the Indiana Convention Center, is sold out. Special guests for the three day weekend include Eddie James, Preston Centuolo, Cast and Crew, Passage Worship, Chris Gilbert, Lee Claypoole, Snowman Levite, NR Hunt and Wundafam.

The Winterfest Web site proclaims that, “Students have a hunger for God more than ever in this day. They are coming together and uniting in Christ to worship and hear the Word of God preached with hundreds saved through each conference. Year after year teens are joining each other in fellowship and igniting the fire within to spread the Word to a lost and dying generation.”
