With over 40 years of keyboarding experience, K2W instructor Jim Milligan is a worshipper at heart. His musical roots run deep and began early in his life. At age ten, Jim, his father, and his six-year-old sister sang together in the church where his father pastored. At age twelve, Jim began to play the organ or piano in church, whichever was needed. Jim has been involved in some aspect of leading worship throughout most of his life. In 1980, Jim began his studies at Lee University, in Cleveland, Tennessee. While at Lee, he frequently accompanied chapel soloists and groups. He was the pianist for the choral group, Lee Singers, and later played for the college recruitment group Harvest, under the direction of Danny Murray. Jim has served as music pastor at Coastal Cathedral in Savannah, Georgia, and at North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Jim’s ability as a keyboardist, and his involvement as a worship leader and song writer, will be a great benefit to K2W subscribers. Jim and his wife Kathy currently reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee where they serve as pastors of The Ministry Center. His desire is to help others grow in their gifts, and see them utilize those gifts for the advancement of the Kingdom.
