The Church of God Division of Education Launches New Website

The Church of God Division of Education recently launched a new Web site in order to better serve the public, define its purpose, and outline its structure.

The Web site provides information about the division, explains the ministries within the division, offers resources for ministerial and laity training, and hosts a store where materials for Lay Leadership Development (LLD), Certificate In Ministerial Studies (CIMS), and ministerial licensure materials can be purchased.

Also included on the site are links to Level III and Level IV Church of God institutions. The Church of God has 117 institutions in 80 countries, training approximately 26,000 students (including extension students). There are residential and extension programs in each country (multiple institutions in some countries). In addition, one institution of advanced status and capability has been established in each of the eight geographic regions into which the church outside of the United States is organized administratively.

All Church of God institutions are guided in growth and effectiveness through the Church of God Institutional Standards and Criteria for Denominational Certification.

The mission of the Division of Education is to review, develop, coordinate, and promote the programs, resources, and plans of education in the Church of God.

The Web site address is www.cogdoe.org, or you may visit the Church of God Web site and click on the education link.
