Boston to Host United, Citywide Worship
Boston Night of Worship today announced that the biggest gathering of the year for united worship in Boston will take place at the 8,000-seat Agganis Arena on Friday, October 29, 2010. Boston Night of Worship 2010 (www.bnow2010.com) will bring together people across denominational, racial and social lines to unite with a singular focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, connecting with what God is already doing in this historic city.
To share the blessings being poured out in Boston, God TV (www.god.tv) will broadcast Boston Night of Worship to more than 200 countries and more than a half-billion people soon after the live event. BNOW also announced that an interview with its founder will air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Praise the Lord” program on August 13. (www.tbn.org)
“Only when we come together as the Body of Christ in groundbreaking intensity of united worship will the world see the face of Jesus Christ, shining and glorious with His character and His heart of love. For Boston Night of Worship 2010, we will come together as a city with utter desperation for heaven to touch earth,” said Zenzo Matoga, founder and visionary leader of Boston Night of Worship.
Over 30 worship leaders will be on stage along with a 100-voice choir at the Agganis Arena to declare the love of Jesus, signifying the beginning of a new era. BNOW is doing what has never been done in Boston — uniting with a heart of love and purity of spirit, building trust among believers in unprecedented ways and positioning the city to be a beacon of Jesus’ light worldwide.
“Only when we lift up the name of Jesus in unity do we enter into a new realm of His presence and see His glory unleashed in Boston for all the world to see,” added Matoga, who is a missionary from Africa, called to help prepare Boston for a surge in revival that will go to the ends of the earth. “We are on the brink of a major transformation in New England, and the worshippers are out front being used of God to help pave the way. People of all ages will worship the living God at this massive, multi-cultural gathering for who He is because our hope and our freedom are found in Jesus Christ.”
Started in 2007, Boston Night of Worship is a movement of united worship, bringing together worship leaders of a wide variety of churches to lead citywide worship in a grassroots gathering for the 21st century. People across New England are invited to join the momentum through a series of pre-rallies at various churches across the region to gear up for the October 29th mega-gathering.
