New Leadership at Pathway Press
At the Church of God General Assembly last month, Rev. Terry Hart, former state overseer of Mississippi, was named director of publications at the Church of God’s Pathway Press in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Hart, former chairman of the publications board, will lead the activities of Pathway, which includes oversight of such distinctively Church of God publications as the Evangel and Minutes of the General Assembly. An in-house digital press, Pathway Digital, produces brochures, on-demand books and other printed material for various audiences. Pathway also employs several telemarketers who receive orders for Sunday School curriculum, resources, books, and products through www.pathwaybookstore.com.
Hart will lead Pathway under the direction of Division of Discipleship director, Assistant General Overseer David Griffis. Each member of the Church of God Executive Committee serves as director of a division of the corporate ministries of the Church of God.
Also joining pathway is David Ray, administrative assistant, and Robert McCall, central distribution coordinator. Ray comes from several years as a member of the ministry staff of the former Youth and Christian Education Department, while McCall was administrative coordinator in the Division of World Evangelization.
Named managing editor was Lance Colkmire, a veteran of Church of God publications, whose primary focus will be editing and production of the Church of God Evangel, which celebrated 100 years of publication in March of this year.
