Church of God Partners With Sky Angel
The Church of God and Sky Angel, a Christian-owned multi-channel television service that delivers God’s Word to people throughout the world while providing families with wholesome entertainment options, will be partnering together in a new venture to provide exclusive Church of God Video-on-Demand (VOD) programming.
The Church of God/Sky Angel partnership consists of three main initiatives: 1) a Church of God subscription VOD, programming produced and scheduled by the Church of God International Headquarters, its departments and under the direction of the Department of Communications; 2) a School of Ministry subscription VOD, which will include the entire library of School of Ministry courses available for personal enrichment, MIP, or CIMS credit and 3) a Church of God reseller program in which individual churches in the denomination can become licensed resellers of the service. As part of the agreement, Sky Angel will make a donation for each subscription referred through the local church to The Church of God International Headquarters which will disburse funds back to the congregation.
Another facet of the partnership is Sky Angel IPTV, Christian-friendly television and radio delivered to subscribers’ televisions by a high-speed internet connection.

Among the Church of God programming (VOD) – also called the Church of God Channel – will be denomination-wide conferences, past General Assemblies, special services from various churches and institutions and various other events and happenings.
“We hope to place a lot of archival material on this site, events and conferences that we regularly get requests for,” Carter continued. “There is virtually no end to the amount of programming specific to our movement that can be placed on the Church of God channel.”
Various subscription levels are available and include the following monthly fees: Faith Package: $14.99; Family Values Package: $24.99; and the Church of God Video on Demand subscription: $5.99. Other options including a Church of God “combo” package will be available.

Sky Angel is the first and only television service of its kind. Founded in 1977 by the late Robert Johnson, Sky Angel allows for viewers to, “bring faith home, better protect ourselves from the negative forces in media, and show our children a positive path.” It was 1977 when Johnson, a successful businessman and former university educator, accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
