Bulgaria Ministry Center in Need
The development in regard to the building permit in Sofia, Bulgaria, has entered a new level. The necessary documents are coming together bit by bit. However, all of these procedures, inspections and reviews are very expensive – on top of the monthly mortgage payments.
The Permit to Occupy
This multi-purpose building offers many possibilities for a whole variety of ministries and congregations to meet and spread the good news and to train and encourage the believers. However, so far it cannot fully be used until we have the permit. We live with a great risk due to the lack of funds to obtain the Occupancy permit. The police could charge us a large sum if we do not receive the permit soon. Every donation toward this need will greatly help us achieve this goal.
Accommodating Ministries
This ministry center, located in the heart of Sofia, Bulgaria, a city of three million people, offers 43,055 square feet of facilities ready to accommodate the church as well as educational needs and social activities. It is currently the largest evangelical center in the Balkans. Inside the center there are conference halls, educational facilities, a social center, a kitchen and feeding station, and accommodation rooms.
The ministry center will be able to serve the Bible College as well as the MIP ministerial training program. The Chaplaincy Commission will also perform their education and ministry activities here.
The main sanctuary has a seating capacity of 1,300 people, but additionally the many rooms and halls we have will allow many more churches and organizations to conduct their services and other activities. The feeding station will be opened to hundreds of people daily. We will also offer computer training for a variety of target groups.
Some of the already scheduled events and activities include conferences, seminars, workshops, worship and other musical events, and missions training programs.
Waiting on the Permit
However, none of these events can take place until we receive our permit. Please be in prayer about this project and move as God leads you.
