Church Out of the Box
Whatever our future holds will be orchestrated so that we can fulfil the purpose for our existence—winning souls to Christ and then discipling those who have come to Him. Would you please pray with us for this?
God is so awesome! We were told many months ago to be prepared to move the Macarthur Worship Centre congregation because the building in which we were worshiping in was either going to be sold or leased at commercial rates. We understood that the economic downturn has affected many people. So after months of fruitless looking, we found nothing affordable. But then we received a deadline date – March 1st.
February 28th was our first Sunday service in the newest cinema in Macarthur Square, the largest shopping mall in Campbelltown. We are right among the people. What was their response? Unbelievably favourable! We are definitely operating out of the box. Our Bible studies have gone to the homes. And the youth have no place to go except to homes. By faith, our Women of Worth (WOW) Conference, scheduled for April 9-10, 2010, will be conducted at the Campbelltown Civic Centre.
God has moved us out so He can move us up! The cinema rental is on a three-month trial basis. We are caught up in the excitement of what God is doing. He will never fail us! Whatever our future holds will be orchestrated so that we can fulfil the purpose for our existence—winning souls to Christ and then discipling those who have come to Him. Would you please pray with us for this? The harvest field is white! Time is running out!
