ROMANIA — I recently returned from a significant one week trip to Romania. The Romanian church, the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, is in partnership with the Church of God. They have more than 500,000 adult members and a spiritual force needed not only for Europe, but also around the world.

I recently returned from a significant one week trip to Romania. The Romanian church, the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, is in partnership with the Church of God. They have more than 500,000 adult members and a spiritual force needed not only for Europe, but also around the world.

A great team was selected for many events during this week’s endeavor. They included: Dr. Timothy Hill, Dr. Wallace Sibley, Dr. Donnie Smith, Dr. Jake Popejoy, Rev. Tom Offutt, Elaine Offutt and Dr. Johnny Sweet. Rev. Johnny Buia, pastor of a Romanian church in Detroit, was also with us as a primary interpreter. We did it all. Together, we offered a dynamic pastoral care conference for some 125 Romanian pastors, two evening preaching rallies with Dr. Hill and Rev. Sibley, and, preaching in many churches throughout the Oradea area.

One of the highlights of the event was a Sunday afternoon baptismal service in a large Romanian prison. Continue to pray for our Romanian brothers and sisters.
