Storm Affects Three Church of God Philippine Ministries

Asia/Pacific Field Director Harold McLeod reports how the recent typhoon in the Philippines has devastated ministries operated by the Church of God…and help is needed.

Reverend McLeod reports:

I recently spoke to my secretary in the Philippines. She told me that in addition to the storm system that came through, two dams had overflowed which has caused even more problems.

She lives on the ground floor of an apartment building. The flood waters began to cover the ground floor so she took her family up to her sister’s apartment on the second floor. The water also rose above the second floor. She has had to evacuate her family and has gone to the center for shelter. There are many of our people that are being affected by this storm.

Please keep everyone in your prayers.

If you wish to donate, there are three different Church of God ministries in the Philippines that need help, Gentle Hands, Word for the World and the Philippines National Office.
