These training seminars are comprehensive and oriented to the kind of practical, hands-on ministry that chaplains carry out in their communities. Topics include the history and theology of chaplaincy, ethics, confidentiality, prayer in the public forum, legal issues, Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing, grief counseling, counseling in the workplace, clergy/client privilege, suicide, diversity and many other relevant subjects. Each attendee receives a Chaplain’s Manual, which is the text for the course and is an invaluable resource to use in one’s chaplaincy service.
Chaplaincy training can serve as a means of equipping you to effectively carry out the Biblical mandate to take the caregiving message of Jesus Christ out to the lost and the hurting. Over the past 15 years, more than 7,000 pastors, ministers and church workers have taken theses training seminars – impacting local communities with the kind of ministry that says the church truly cares for people in need.
