Missions Isn’t Just for Supermissionaries

An intense Bible study for missions has been developed by World Gospel Mission, a missionary-sending agency based in Marion, Indiana. The World Go! manual is a tool that helps believers understand their role in spreading the gospel.

“Do you think missions is just for extra-spiritual missionaries living in Africa, or reserved for that one trip you take with your church every year? It’s time to take a second look at those assumptions by diving into the World Go! Manual,” says Tim Rickel, Vice President of Communication.

The nine-week program discusses the nine qualities of a missions-active Christian, including prayer, witness, love, teach, and more. Each chapter provides practical action steps that are designed to stretch and exercise each quality.

“If you have claimed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a missionary,” said Tim, “But since most people are unsure of what that looks like, we created the World Go! Manual as a tool and resource. Missions is the heartbeat of God, and we want all believers to find their place in sharing His message.”
