Jeff received the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara Award, in recognition of his outstanding service as the battalion chaplain for the unit during two deployments to Iraq. The Order of Saint Barbara is an honorary military society of the United States Field Artillery.

During the same ceremony, Amanda received the Molly Pitcher Award for her outstanding support on the home front during the unit’s two deployments. The Molly Pitcher Award is named for the heroine of the Revolutionary War who supported her artilleryman husband and his fellow soldiers in the heat of the battle with pitchers of cold water and even firing the canons herself.

The Roberson family will transfer to Fort Meade, Maryland, this summer. Chaplain Roberson is a graduate of the Church of God Theological Seminary and is stationed with his family at the Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
