Teacher of the Year Award Nomination Deadline Approaching
The International Department of Youth and Christian Education and Pathway Press are partnering together in the 5th annual Teacher of the Year award to be announced on Christian Education Workers Appreciation Sunday, January 25, 2009.
The deadline for nominations for the award is quickly approaching. All nominations must be received by December 15, 2008.

A brochure can also be mailed upon request and a nomination form faxed, by calling 423-478-7229 or by sending an e-mail to bhouston@churchofgod.org.
Church of God churches across America are encouraged to consider nominating a teacher, who is involved in Bible teaching in Sunday school, discipleship, or midweek training. Churches are also invited to set aside Sunday, January 25, 2009, as a day to honor Christian education workers for their dedication, hard work and life-changing impact on their students through the discipleship ministries of the local church. By doing so, churches will demonstrate in meaningful ways the importance and high value placed on the ministry of discipleship in the church. A complete program is available on the YCE website.
