Call for Prayer in Cuba

On Sunday, July 11, 2021, thousands of people across Cuba joined in protest, seeking basic medication and vaccines to combat the coronavirus that is rapidly spreading across the island.

The crisis has been further exacerbated by the economic conditions, lack of food, poor medical care, power blackouts, and the political chaos that has existed for decades.

The International Executive Committee calls on our Church of God family to pray for the people of Cuba during this medical, economic, and political crisis. We want our fellow believers across Cuba to know that we are lifting them up in prayer during this difficult time.

We also join our brothers and sisters in Christ who are of Cuban heritage in this country in praying for peace, protection for their family members, and for God to use this moment to bring about a revival of salvation and freedom. Only in Christ can we experience true freedom. In John 8:32, Jesus promised that “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
