People For Care and Learning Hold Historical First Rally
We had a great time of reunion and networking with our partners in service to Southeast Asia. Thanks to all of you who made it to the historical first ever Rally and Reunion for People for Care and Learning!
Our special speaker, Yieng Yann, inspired us with her life story of survival and freedom from the Khmer Rouge Communist Regime in Cambodia in the late 1970s when she was only eight.
Throughout the weekend, many testimonies were given of the life-changing experience of traveling to Southeast Asia, and future projects were presented.
The highlight of the weekend was the videophone conversation with our People for Care and Learning family in Cambodia: the staff and children at the Siem Reap children’s home. What a wonderful treat that was for all of us!
