‘Global Celebration’ Event Set for September 18

Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill has announced an online event intended to bring the Church of God family together for an evening of celebration, praise, worship, and looking to the future.

On Friday, September 18, participants from around the world will join together in a virtual broadcast on Facebook Live beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST. It will feature musical guests and choirs from various parts of the globe, reports on how the Lord is blessing, and a message of hope to chart the path for the future of the Church of God.

“In this current day, as the world recovers from a pandemic, the Church of God is moving forward,” Hill stated. “I have been uplifted by the stories of Harvest and progress that continue in the midst of a global shutdown. God is continuing to bless and provide, and we give God praise for it. While nothing can replace the saints of God gathering together in person, hopefully this ‘Global Celebration’ will be a connection for our movement.”

The Global Celebration will also include music from special guests Jason Crabb, as well as Danny Murray and the Voices of Lee.

The highlight of the livestream will be a message from General Overseer Hill outlining the theme for this period, “The Church on Mission: Focused on The FINISH Commitment.”

More information regarding Global Celebration will be forthcoming via Faith News and Church of God social media channels.
