Author Recounts Awe-Inspiring Testimonies
It was a “writing on the wall” experience that compelled Dr. R. Peprah-Gyamfi to chronicle the awe-inspiring testimonies of divine intervention in his Christian walk. “When God Left a Message on My Laptop! And Other Amazing Testimonies of Divine Interventions in Our Time” is the recounting of the intervention that prompted Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi to share his message with others.
Born in Ghana in the tiny village of Mpintimpi, Dr. R. Peprah-Gyamfi has faced many difficulties and challenges in life. He has relied on his walk with God to help him through each trial and tribulation.
“I felt abandoned recently,” he said. “Just as I felt abandoned, the Rock of Ages spectacularly manifested Himself in my life; in a manner that was not only unexpected but also beyond anything that I could imagine in my wildest dreams. He sent a message straight to me on my laptop!”
Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi said the encounter was one reminiscent of God’s intervention in Daniel 5:5-6: “In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king’s countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.”
Just as the king saw the writing on the wall that announced the end of his reign, Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi found his own version of a wall inscription on his laptop screen. On Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 7:25 a.m., he was greeted by these words of wisdom in a Microsoft document on his laptop screen: “Wishes can never fill a sack.”
While he knows some people may think his revelation is a fabrication, Dr. Peprah-Gyamfi said others would find comfort and inspiration in it. “We are living in a time when the abundance of grim and distressing news such as the coronavirus pandemic has caused many, including some Christians, to question God’s active involvement in the world and in some cases, even doubt His existence,” he said. “It is my hope this book helps restore that lost faith and brings newfound devotion to God.”
