GA20.org Unveiled for International General Assembly

Church of God Communications has launched GA20.org, a new website dedicated to informing participants and delegates about the upcoming 78th International General Assembly of the Church of God set for July 21-24, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The January 6, 2020 release of the site contains a limited number of resources pertaining to the event, primarily the opportunity for registration and accommodations, the first order of business for all potential delegates.

GA20.org will eventually be a “one stop shop” for everything concerning the Church of God General Assembly, including special guests and night speakers, and details about two popular events, the LEAD conference and the Women’s Ministries service. It will also include a basic schedule outline and other items.

“GA20.org will contain much more information in the near future,” stated Dr. John D. Childers, secretary general for the Church of God and chairman of the General Assembly cabinet. “We wanted to launch at this time to allow for registration and housing to begin, knowing there will be more to come in the weeks and months ahead.” Departments and ministries, college alumni groups, state offices, and other organizations are confirming information on their events and will be added to the schedule.

Items being finalized and expected to be included on the site will be more information on the GA20 venue, the Indiana Convention Center, parking and main event locations, links to Indianapolis area attractions, exhibit information, news and media releases, and update videos. GA20.org will also be the place where required documents, such as Previous Notice items and the proposed agenda, scheduled for a May 2020 release, will be posted. Delegates and attendees of the General Assembly are encouraged to check back in to the site on a regular basis.

The week of the General Assembly the site will transform into a resource that will provide items pertinent to the event, including daily news releases, social media information, notices, publications and access to the livestream.
