Concluding Service at GA18 to Highlight ‘Jeremiah Generation’

The closing service of the upcoming Church of God International General Assembly will feature a mass youth choir highlighting the “Jeremiah Generation.” The service will take place on Friday, August 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse, in Orlando, Florida.

Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill has proclaimed this upcoming group of young people the Jeremiah Generation based upon the scripture from Jeremiah Chapter 1, verse 4, where God told Jeremiah, “Before you were born I knew who you were and I knew who you were going to be.” Hill will moderate and speak during the service.

“God confirmed to Jeremiah that he was to be a prophet to the nations!” Hill stated. “I feel prophetic alignment for end time assignment is happening. Ultimately, the purpose of this project is to identify and SEND this amazing and resourceful army out to win the Harvest. We have many young men and women among the Jeremiah generation in the Church of God today who must be engaged and empowered to make a difference.”

“What an awesome opportunity to showcase and highlight the talent and ministry of the Jeremiah Generation,” said Director of Youth and Discipleship David Blair. He went on to say that all young people, ages 25 and under, are invited to participate in the mass choir that will be led by Danny Murray and the world-famous Voices of Lee. Also featured will be Brooke Simpson, a finalist from the popular NBC talent search, The VOICE. Rehearsal will be on Friday, August 3 at 5:00 pm behind the stage in the worship and business venue, West Concourse, Hall AB.

Blair also stated there will be a special rehearsal for Junior Talent participants on the stage in Chapin Theater on Friday, August 3 at 12:15 pm.
