Book Describes Important Themes of the Christian Faith

First time author Dina L. Lieber was especially restless one July night in 2017. Unable to let go of the phrase “Love God Love Peoples” running nonstop in her mind, she finally got up at 2:00 a.m. and wrote it down. However, that was not the end of the story. A beautiful symbol appeared in her mind and after drawing it on a scratch pad she was finally able to get some sleep. In the days to follow, that phrase and symbol became the driving force leading to the newly released new book titled “Love God Love Peoples; A Bible Study for the Curious.”

Written with both skeptics and faith-seekers in mind, the book offers eight straight-forward lessons on topics including the reliability of the Bible, the meaning and importance of the Old Testament sacrificial system, noteworthy details on the personalities and lives of New Testament writers and the significance of the resurrection for the disciples and believers throughout history. Additionally, the author describes how the title of the book relates to what is believed by Christians to be the two most important commandments taught by Jesus—to love God above all and to love your neighbor as yourself. Using scripture to elicit thought-provoking ideas and questions, the author guides the reader onto a path of better understanding of the tenets of the Christian faith.

Lieber’s style is both informational and personal. She provides disarming stories related to her faith struggles as well as encourages seekers to dig deeper and learn more about the authenticity and messages of the Bible for themselves.
