Black Ministries Plans Awareness Celebration Next Week

Cleveland, TN—The Church of God Black Ministries Department will be hosting a two-day, three-event celebration on February 7-8, 2018.

On Wednesday morning, February 7, Rev. Jacqueline Smith will begin the events as she will bring a message during the International Offices monthly chapel service at 10:45 a.m. The service will be held in the conference center in the Leadership and Communications Center and will be carried via livestream on Facebook (COGHQ) and at www.churchofgod.org.

That evening at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin Hardy will be the keynote speaker in a service to be conducted at the Fellowship of Praise Church of God. Hardy is pastor of Resurrection Life Church in Delray Beach, Florida. Special musical guests will be the popular Evangelistic Singers (EVS) from Lee University. EVS recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Joining EVS as a musical guest will be vocalist D. Scott. General Overseer Tim Hill will bring a greeting.

The setting on Thursday morning will be an 11:00 a.m. service at the Leadership and Communications Center at the International Offices. Special guest speaker will be Danny Kyei-Poakwa, of the House of Deliverance Church in Boston, Massachusetts.

Director of Black Ministries Bishop Doyle Scott invites everyone to attend.
