Prayer Leaders Training Set for January 8-10

State Prayer Leaders and teams are being invited to Cleveland, Tennessee for the second annual campus revival, led by Dr. Tim Hill, the General Overseer. During the days of January 8-10, 2018, prayer leaders will gather for training at the North Cleveland Church of God.

The FIND Coalition, focused on Unreached People Groups, led by Ken Anderson of World Missions, will meet jointly with the prayer leaders.

Doug Small, Prayer Coordinator, said, “This year, the event is all about prayer and mission!” Throughout the two full days of meeting, prayer and mission leaders will grapple with prayer mobilization in the denomination, prayer for those who have never heard. The goal,” Small said, “is to come out of this meeting with the most aggressive prayer strategy to date for the denomination.”

The event begins with the virtual prayer simulcast Tuesday evening, January 8 at the Church of God International Offices Leadership and Communications Center led by Hill. The joint FIND Coalition and Prayer Leader training will take place during the day on Wednesday and Thursday at North Cleveland Church of God. The campus revival and prayer simulcast continues each evening at headquarters.

The meeting is open to Administrative Bishops, State Prayer Leaders, and members of the State Prayer Leadership teams, along with pastors and leaders who desire greater involvement in some aspect of the global prayer process. Of course, members of the FIND Coalition and pastors interested in the cause of Unreached People Groups are also encouraged to attend.

Small says, “We want to come out of our January meeting firing on all cylinders and we especially want to raise the level of intercessory prayer engagement. We want to vision our future. We cannot afford, in these last days, to allow our prayer effort to become stale and rote. Jesus wants the church to be a ‘house of prayer for the nations.’”
