CHINA — UPDATE – Prominent House Church Leader Forced Out of Beijing
On Jan. 16, more than a dozen Public Security Bureau (PSB) officers forcibly escorted Pastor “Bike” Zhang Mingxuan from a Beijing pastor’s home and put him on a bus to Henan province. Pastor Bike went to Pastor Hua Huiqi’s home to visit Hua’s father, Hua Zaichen who is dying. Chinese authorities are also refusing to allow Hua Zaichen’s wife, Shuang Shuying, to see him. Shuang, 79, is in prison. The Voice of the Martyrs has assisted the families of Hua Huiqi and Pastor Bike during the many times the Chinese government has persecuted them because of their faith.
