Second Biennial ‘GO WEST’ Conference Set for September

“Go West, young man” was once the clarion call to a young nation in search of gold. Today, more than 150 years later, that same call is going out to the church – this time, to FINISH the Great Commission within the rich harvest fields of the western United States.

“The Finish Focus” is the theme of the second biennial GO WEST Conference, Sept. 14-16, 2017 at Free Chapel in Irvine, Cal. An unprecedented 11 Church of God state and regional offices have come together to invite pastors, lay leaders, ministers and church planters to a power-packed three days of applicable training, inspired preaching and dynamic collaboration to do Kingdom work in the West.

Early registration is $40 for single admission and $60 for couples, and is due online at www.gowest2.org by July 14. After that, registration is $50 for single admission and $70 for couples.

This year’s distinguished cast of main-session speakers features Dr. Tim Hill, the General Overseer of the Church of God, as well as Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, senior pastor of Faith Central Bible Church-Los Angeles and Pastor Rae Orozco, founder and president of Grace Culture International.

This year’s schedule features five tracks of breakout sessions: leading, planting, revitalizing, emerging (youth) and risking (women’s). There will also be an interactive session with all five members of the International Executive Committee, and a “Faith, Fire and Freedom” women’s rally on Friday night.

The conference begins at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 and closes by noon on Sept. 16.

“We welcome you to explore our next GO WEST conference, which is centered on the theme, “THE FINISH FOCUS,” said Bishop Charles Fischer, the Administrative Bishop of California-Nevada. “Our first GO WEST Conference in 2015 was a resounding success and we believe this year’s edition will be even better. The Steering Team looks forward to welcoming you and serving you.”

Space is limited so register today at www.gowest2.org or call (559) 322-0293 for more information.
