Prayer Ministries Offers Training Conference

Church of God Prayer Ministries continues to train leaders for the grassroots, Prayer Leaders Continuing Education effort. P. Douglas Small, Prayer Coordinator calls it, “The most innovative prayer training program for local church prayer leaders available today. “

Small went on to say, “It takes prayer training to the local congregation, gives them bite-sized learning pieces, new fresh resources, a chance to connect with and encourage prayer leaders from other congregations near them.”

The 43-month, quarterly program is sponsored by PROJECT PRAY and Church of God Prayer Ministries. Facilitators need to be certified to lead the well-resourced process.

Now, Project Pray is offering certification for a number of the Schools of Prayer that have been presented across the nation and around the world.

“This is a symbiotic partnership,” Small says. “If we can train leaders to serve an on-going prayer training process and offer Schools of Prayer in local churches, quality materials that stretch our prayer theology and practice, then we are on the edge of seeing a movement of prayer that offers the hope of revival and awakening.”

The training conference will be held at Ridgecrest, located near Asheville, N.C., May 25-27. The cost for the certification is nominal. For information, go to www.projectpray.org/project-pray-training or call 855-542-5483.
