Kidfest 2017 Registration Now Open

Frontier Kidfest, scheduled for April 7-9, 2017 at the Westin Hotel in Irving, Texas, is the first event of the 2017 Kidfest season and will attract hundreds of kids!

Children’s ministry leaders from churches in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, South Central Hispanic Region and the Heartland Region will take their groups to Kidfest for a weekend encounter with the Holy Spirit. The weekend includes four dynamic church services designed just for kids and geared to their liking.

“Kidfest is an awesome opportunity for children to enjoy uninhibited worship and praise, with hundreds of their peers, as they together proclaim to serve a God without limits,” stated Church of God Children’s Ministries Coordinator Tony Lane. “Every year, hundreds of boys and girls are filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Kidfests around the country.”

“Church of God International Youth and Discipleship understands the need to target those between the age of 4 and 14 and is doing everything possible to reach those within the ‘4/14 window,’” Lane continued. “Ministry to children has been a priority at Youth and Discipleship for many years and Kidfest has been a ministry of Youth and Discipleship since 2002.” Since its beginning in Texas, Kidfest has expanded to five locations in the United States, as well as influencing similar ministries internationally.

With the theme, “THIS IS OUR TIME,” Kidfest 2017 will be bigger and better than ever before. Each venue will focus on helping children understand the importance of taking each moment to lift the name of God and glorify Christ. The guest speaker line-up includes a variety of people who love ministry to kids. They include Kidfest favorites: B-Shoc, JumpStart 3, Skadoodles, and many more. Remix will again be providing the pre-service programming.

Midwest Kidfest, April 21-23, will again be held at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio, where space is limited and the cost includes a three-day admission to the indoor waterpark, as well as the four services. Carolina Kidfest, April 28-30, will once again be held at the Charlotte, N.C. Renaissance Suites Hotel. For the sixth consecutive year, Smoky Mountain Kidfest, May 5-7, will convene at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, an earlier site of Winterfest. At this location, each group may secure their own lodging. (Lodging recommendations, registration, and rooming list forms are all available on the www.mykidfest.com website.)

“Winterfest has been ministering to students for 35 years and Kidfest has been ministering to children for 15 years,” Lane concluded. “Don’t wait until they’re old enough for Winterfest; take them to Kidfest now and reach them before they need rescuing!”
