Father’s Day Resource Offered by Adult Discipleship
Church of God Adult Discipleship Ministries is offering resources for Father’s Day, coming up this Sunday, June 19.
“Father’s Day is a time to celebrate the blessings of godly fathers,” said David Gosnell, director of Church of God Adult Discipleship. “It is an important day in the life of the family, church and community and to share the message of God’s love and grace.”
Gosnell recommends a new resource for fathers from the Great Commandment Network and part of the Reset My family Legacy series. Honor Your Father will make an excellent gift and is designed as a Bible study for men’s small groups and can be used in Sunday school.
Honor Your Father has five sections: 1) Honoring Your Heavenly Father, 2) The Promised Blessing of Honoring Your Father, 3) Honoring Imperfect Fathers, 4) The Call To Honor and 5) Being a Father Worthy of Honor.
Church of God General Overseer Mark Williams wrote the lesson titled, “A Heavenly Father We Can Relate To.” Other noted authors include Ted Baehr, Pat Boone, Carey Casey, Jim Daly, Brian Doyle, Barbara Doyle, Tony Dungy, Nick Hall, Josh McDowell, Dennis Rainey, John Trent, Gary Smalley, Roland Warren, and Billy Wilson. These fathering experts guide the reader through 80 different exercises designed to equip you in:

– Praying for your family’s legacy
