General Assembly Site Ranks High on Destination Websites, Publications

When the 76th Church of God International General Assembly convenes on July 19-22, it will be the first time it has been held in Nashville, and 50 years since it was last held in Tennessee.

Tennessee’s capital city is on the cutting-edge of destination cities in the U.S. In addition, Nashville is known around the globe. It is routinely listed on travel websites and publications. A sampling of those listings include:

One of the primary reasons Nashville was chosen for this year’s General Assembly is its geographic location:

• 50% of U.S. population is within 600 miles.
• 380 daily arrivals and departures at Nashville’s airport and served by all major airlines
• Uniquely positioned at the convergence of three major interstates (I-24, I-40, I-65)
