Ministry Plans to Reach All of Ukraine with the Gospel in 5 Years

Russian Harvest Ministries has launched Ukraine – Vision 2020 a five year plan to reach all 42 million people in the nation of Ukraine with the Gospel. Seventy evangelism teams are already reaching over 300,000 people every month with more teams added monthly.

Vision 2020 includes raising up evangelism training centers in all 25 states in Ukraine plus:
• Train a minimum 500 partnering churches in evangelism.

• Train and release 1,000 evangelists into ministry.

• Conduct 5,000 outreaches.
Currently ministry teams reach 300,000 people every month through one-on-one personal witnessing and are given a Gospel Newspaper. This number is increasing each month with a goal to share Jesus with one million people per month by July 2017 then continue until the end of 2020.

On January 1, 2016 Peter Mehl, president of Russian Harvest Ministries launched this five year evangelism initiative. Testimonies of salvations come in daily and often hourly throughout the day. Churches are being trained in one-on-one personal evangelism every month and released into the vision to reach Ukraine for Jesus Christ.

In the words of Missionary Evangelist Peter Mehl and president of the ministry “What we see taking place in Ukraine is historic. It is like the early 1990s when the country first opened to the Gospel. The war in the East and the economic crisis have caused people to once again recognize their need of a Savior. We are working around the clock in order to take full advantage of this historic opportunity.”

Each month the ministry office in Chernigov, Ukraine creates a four page color Gospel Newspaper. Each issue is full of testimonies of salvations, healing and deliverance with a call to salvation on the last page. This Gospel witness is provided in both Russian and Ukrainian languages.

The ministry also has teams in the war zone of Ukraine reaching soldiers for Christ. To date 20,000 soldiers have been presented the Gospel with over 3,000 making decisions for Jesus.
