Daystar, Planetshakers Concert to Benefit Samaritan’s Place

On Monday, September 21, 2015 at 8:30 P.M. EST, the Melbourne, Australia- based Christian band Planetshakers will launch a new mission emphasis CD entitled, Let’s Go, with a concert in Dallas, Texas. The live event is to be broadcast on Daystar’s television network and will be available for online demand viewing via Daystar’s website.

In demonstrating their heart for missions and orphan children, Daystar and Planetshakers have selected Samaritan’s Place orphanage in Manila, Philippines to receive a “private live watching party” simulcast of the concert and will be Skyped with during the event broadcast.

According to Daystar’s event coordinator Rachel Lamb, “Not only will people all around the world be blessed by the music of Planetshakers, but the children in the orphanage will have the opportunity to witness the event live as well.”

Founded and administrated by Marc and Marilen Morris, career Church of God missionaries, Samaritan’s Place has cared for orphan children and facilitated short-term mission teams in the Philippines for more than sixteen years. A licensed and accredited social welfare agency, Samaritan’s Place services also include administrative liaison work for international adoptions.

Church of God World Missions and the Marcelley’s Dream Initiative, under the direction of Tim Hill, director and John Childers, assistant director, is a leading sponsor of Daystar’s Planetshakers Let’s Go concert. Daystar, founded by Marcus and Joni Lamb, is the fastest growing Christian television network and media organization in the world.
