Church of God World Missions Addressing European Refugee Dilemma

In response to the plight of tens of thousands of people fleeing countries such as Syria, World Missions Director, Dr. Timothy M. Hill and Assistant Director, Dr. John D. Childers, in conjunction with the European Leadership Summit currently taking place in Budapest, Hungary, will engage in dialogue with the eight European Regional Superintendents regarding how to implement and aid quickly those mired in this deepening crisis.

“Church of God World Missions is deeply concerned for the physical and spiritual welfare of the refugees that currently are flooding several European countries,” Hill stated. “It is the hope and desire of World Missions to expedite assistance to those facing these desperate circumstances by offering what we can in the name of Christ.”

A statement and an action plan will be issued soon detailing how the Church of God, working through World Missions, will strive to provide hope and care to those involved in this mass exodus. Prayers for the people of Europe are greatly needed.
